"Please wait during the verification of the acivation of this product"ĭo you wish to search for new updates - Click NO - it doesn't always ask this bit. When we connect the Lexia to the PC, the green light flashes 3 times and then stays lit. We have tried to give as clear a breakdown of the sequence of events as possible. Have you all struggled and then finally got it to work and never looked back ? We are still struggling here with our Lexia. Hello to all and Happy 2014 from Bretagne. On checking the internet it looks to be an all too common a problem on the 406 range.Īt least our tractor still runs, buts thats probably only 'cause its 1957 and has virtually no electrics whatsoever. No warnings beforehand that the ignition was dodgy or worn. To top it all, the only car left in the family without any faults (Pug 406 Estate 110 Hdi) jammed its key in the ignition this morning (at 4am in the work carpark) for no apparent reason. We launch Diagbox and select Citroen and then it launches LEXIA,we do our VIN and RPO, we do "Test by Function" or "Global Test" and it does "Search for Vehicle Configuration", gets to 100% but then in the chart it says NO under every category for dialogue. We also have a file TLCDfix which does not run atall.

We have a file called "Setup Drivers Diagbox (Scarymistake)", when we run it we are prompted for a password - there is no readme file or demo to tell us this password, but the install or next button are greyed out anyway.
Demo lexia 3 driver#
We did not un-install the old drivers and re-install a new set.ĪCTIA USB is perfect in Device Manager, but the driver is dated, Version 4.0.0.0. We got the Diagbox installed (just V7.02) to begin with and then it installs Lexia and PP2000. The diagbox checks for Lexia anyway and un-installs it. Our disks start with version 7.02 and then have updates to get to v7.16. We followed your advice and un-installed it and went onto the 2nd disk to install Diagbox. When we plugged into the USB, the drivers installed automatically.
Demo lexia 3 software#
Yes, we installed an old Version of the Lexia software that was on one of the disks we got. Its got a moniter about 8 years old, big thing but not wide.

Its an old desktop in the garage that a friend gave us for free which is set up on a hostess trolley type thing that we built from scrap steel shelves and the undercarriage of a rotten table-tennis table. PS: reason why I tried Virtual Clone Drive, was that Alcohol 120% was crashing for me I also don't believe that there is any copy protection on the disc, because if it was using securerom then just burning the discs would not work (which they do), and would need to copy a file across or so to get it working (which it doesn't) Virtual Clone Drive (free) from Slysoft works a charm too. The reason it doesn't work if you burn the ISO's to disks or use another program like MagicDisc is because the original DVD's use Securerom copy protection, and Alcohol 120% is able to emulate that.ĭon't loose heart - Citroen Service box is challenging and troublesome to install even for those of us who work in computers day in day out.Īlcohol 120% isn't required, I can attest to that on 3 different installation on 2 different machines. If you did not use Alcohol 120% to install as detailed in "Citroen SBox Install Instructions.txt", then unfortunately I think you will need to uninstall and try installation again using Alcohol 120%. It's also important to use Alcohol 120% to mount the iso images to install from, and follow the instructions for settings for it carefully - I tried to use other iso mounting software like MagicDisc (which I already use) and it didn't work." "Regarding the other problem, which readme file did you follow ? There are two readme files with somewhat different install processes - one called "How_to_install.doc" in the main large download from the torrent file, and "Citroen SBox Install Instructions.txt" from the "Citroen_SBox_Install_Instructions_SBox_Keygen.rar", its the latter one which worked for me. To quote a recent PM I sent you which I don't think you received: em-occured" onclick="window.open(this.href) return false This forum thread seems to suggest that the problem is not using Alcohol 120% to mount the install ISO images: Mandrake wrote:I have had this problem before but I can't remember what the cause was.
